I've noticed having just come back from a couple of weeks away that when catching up on the boards, that if I'm on the second third or whatever page of topics, and view any of the topics. If I then wish to get back to the correct page of topic titles, I'd have to go, jump to new topics, then browse to the page of said new topics i want before finding my place in the table of titles once more.
I know I could go back, with my browser, but would it be worth having an extra combo box say on the page so that we can silect not only which borad, (E.g. new topics, zone suggestions ...) but also then which page of that bord we wish to jump to?
Hmmm. Never noticed that, but, I can't stay away from the zone that long.
It's an interesting idea. I'll have to think about it, but, initially it seems unobtrusive, and could be helpful.
Let's see what others have to say.

I always open topics in a new window, so I can close the topic window and return to where I was previously in the list.
that's what i do as well.
Agreed with Blake and Chris. Or...perhaps an adjustable, "number of posts per page", setting, configurable from a user's account.
